Knowledge of pharmacovigilance among healthcare professionals and the impact of an educational intervention

Aim. To determine the knowledge regarding various aspects of pharmacovigilance among doctors and nurses a tertiary care teaching hospital to evaluate effect an educational intervention. 
 Methods. A cross-sectional study was conducted hospital. The participants attended one-hour session during which concept pharmacovigilance, Pharmacovigilance Program India, need for reporting ADRs, method were explained by subject expert. 20-item questionnaire used assess their before after session. pre-post comparisons done using Wilcoxon’s signed-rank test. p-value less than 0.05 considered statistically significant.
